Year 11 GCSE Results – 2018

Daniel Jinadu opening up his wonderful results (8A**-As)

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students who have achieved some truly wonderful results in their GCSE and Level 2 Vocational examinations this academic year. We are absolutely delighted that our pupils have risen to the challenge of the ‘new‘ GCSE courses and have attained the results that their hard work, along with the support and dedication of our staff, so rightly deserved. Initial analysis indicates that 60% of the cohort achieved a Level 4 (C grade or higher) in both English and Maths, with a particularly impressive 54% of pupils achieving a Level 5 or higher in English.

Notable individual performances include Lewis Sawyer (9 grades between the new 7-9 grades, equivalent to 9A** - A), Daniel Jinadu (8A** - As), Dominica Eliasova (8A** - As), Aiste Mizgeryte (7 A** - As), Megan Kinch (7A** - As) and Gemma Borda (7A** - As); truly outstanding achievements.

Following on from the tremendous news we received last week on A Level Results Day, today’s outcomes do much to reflect the excellent progress the whole school has made in recent times; really well done to all those who have played their part. We wish all of our students all the very best in their chosen future pathways and congratulations once again on today’s achievements!
