Dear Parents/Guardians

Following the Prime Minister’s briefing yesterday evening, we are preparing to close the school tomorrow (Friday 20th March) until further notice. However, the government has announced that provision will continue to be made for children of key workers – this is ONLY where both parents are key workers, or in the case of the key worker being a single parent.

As yet, the complete list of key worker eligibility has not been published, but we ask that any parent who thinks they will be eligible for their child to access these arrangements and would, in theory, like to avail of this provision, to email the office at worksurvey@stj.kent.sch.uk by 2.30pm today (Thursday 19th March).

Please send this email request from your work email e.g. @kent.pnn.police.uk to help us confirm your eligibility. It is vital that you send this email to us today by 2.30pm so that we have time to plan effectively. Do not use the generic office email in case your response is missed in the vast amount of emails that we are receiving in this unprecedented situation.

Just so that you are aware, I will be writing to you again soon in order to clearly outline how we intend to continue to support all students (and families) as best we can in these most challenging of times.
