St John’s Receives the Kent Resilience Award

In June 2019 St John’s Catholic Comprehensive School achieved the “Kent School Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing” which acknowledged the fantastic support the school offers our pupils with regards to their positive mental health and wellbeing.
Since then the school has been working hard to continue to offer this support to our pupils in order to build their resilience in the face of adversity. As such, St John’s works closely with a range of outside agencies – Young Lives Foundation, Emotional Wellbeing Practioners, KOOTH, born2ride – to name but a few that work with our pupils and their parents/carers.
In recognition of the school’s continued commitment in building resilience and positive mental health within our St John’s community, we have just been awarded the “Kent Resilience Award” by KCHFT (Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust). We are incredibly grateful to all the staff, pupils and parents/carers for all of the wonderful work that they have done to support this endeavour.
