Head of Design & Technology

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Design & Technology to lead a very successful team which delivers a very broad curriculum across our school and achieves excellent results both at KS4 and KS5. This is a rare opportunity to join a very well-resourced and thriving department for a current or aspiring middle leader who wishes to lead and enhance a high-achieving team with a strong culture of professional learning and development.
Currently, alongside a broad KS3 Design Technology curriculum, across Key Stages 4 & 5 we offer a wide range of Technology-related courses such as GCSE & A Level Product Design, Level 2 & 3 BTEC Engineering, DIY Skills, Automotive Studies and GCSE Graphic Products. Therefore, to have the opportunity to teach in our thriving Catholic community, the successful candidate will be a well-qualified DT specialist with a passion for the subject as well as experience of delivering at least some (or all) of the courses listed above.

Teacher of Religious Education

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated teacher of RE. The successful candidate will join one of the school’s most effective and respected departments, working and collaborating with an exceptionally committed and talented team of practitioners.
In addition to an exciting and enriching KS3 RE curriculum, the school offers GCSE Edexcel Religious Studies Specification A - Catholic Christianity and study of Judaism, and A Level OCR Religious Studies - Philosophy, Ethics and Developments in Christian Theology. Furthermore, all KS5 students study Core RE. The learning experiences students have in this subject and the resulting outcomes they achieve are exceptional.
