Suggested Resources

Here is a link which will show you a sample copy of the textbook that we use in Year 12. It includes some example pages so you can get an idea of the type of content that you will be studying. The book would need to be purchased by Year 12 students to support their learning in class and they are available in both hard copy and electronic copy formats (please do not purchase these until directed to do so by Mr. Thilthorpe in September).

Expected Homework Hours Per Week It is recommended that you spend a minimum of 4 hours per week on homework/independent study for Geography (2 hours for Human Geography and 2 hours for Physical Geography). In Year 13 this will increase to 6 hours per week as you complete your Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) which is worth 20% of your overall grade.
Learning Platforms Used Satchel One (formally named Show My Homework) will be used to set any homework for students. In the case of any home learning MS Teams will be used to conduct lessons.
