Uniform & Equipment

Please find below a list of the uniform for our students.

We also offer a pre-loved uniform shop once per term, details of which can be found on a flyer in the attachments of this page.

Boys Uniform
Blue shirt and house tie Top button should be done up, shirt tucked in and the tie should be down to the navel
Black school trousers
Black School blazer
Black Plain V-neck jumper
Hair natural colour, tidy and off the collar
Black socks
Black leather (type) shoes not on or above the ankle i.e. not boots or trainers
No studs of any kind or earrings

Any coat worn to school must be black or navy blue and should be as plain as possible with no large logos

Girls Uniform
Blue Revere Collared Blouse (not tie) or Blue shirt with tie If choosing a shirt the top button should be done up, shirt tucked in and the tie should be down to the navel
Only the official black skirt with the St John's school logo is permitted (available from the sewing shop) to be worn just above the knee or black trousers – nothing skin tight
Black non-patterned tights or black ankle socks These should be below the knee
School blazer
Black V-neck jumper no cardigans
Hair natural colour and tidy
Long Black Socks (Alternative to above)
Black leather (type) shoes no open toes or slip off backs
Makeup Discreet, No nail varnish
Jewellery One small stud in each ear only Any coat worn to school must be black or navy blue and should be as plain as possible with no large logos
